My subject was always women. First, my researchs was about the invisible feelings of women. That's why they didn't have faces. I studied sadness, happyness, loneliness, enthusiasm, love and indecisiveness with abstract touches.
At the end of this, percieved and visible emotions, together with thoughts, appeared with portraits by being created as patterns. I combined joy of a blissful woman and the lineliness of a thoughtful woman with th mystery of red, the excitement of yellow and the freedom of blue.
The women in my works were real with their emotions and thoughts. They chose different platforms in their own lives...
Fashion and art have been the world where they could exist with their passion for beauty and productivity which come from their creation...
So I prepared a collection with IMA (Istanbul Fashion Academy). A collection consisting Tuğba Yazıcı's paintings...
I took place in a fashion show even a result of an award of my collection.
From now on, my paintings are on the dresses of the women who prefer to carry all emotions of a woman can feel; good and evil, bitter and sweet. Women who are colorful, brave, and avant-garde...
There is no limit line in my art production...
Whatever I did was not for looking for an identity; just for telling who I am.
